Skippy gets away with this because it is his nature to SCREAM as loud as possible. Especially in the morning and at night just when his humans will least appreciate his beautiful noise. | Tongo the Amazing African Grey | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Tongo can say over 300 words and phrases as well as copy most noises. He has mastered sneaker squeaking and now makes that noise when we walk through the house even if we are wearing socks. Tongo has determined that he is the boss of the house and lords over everyone from his cage. He tells us to "stop it!", "Get breakfast", "Tongo wake up!" That is his way of saying that he wants to come out of his sleeping room into the day room. He enjoys home cooked meals of beans and rice, plenty of mixed veggies and a small amount of seed. His favorite treat is pine nuts and he has learned many tricks just to earn one. �
